“To Have Something of Mine, Finally…It’s a Huge Accomplishment."
Jordan recently purchased a new Green Country Habitat home, and we joined her on the final walkthrough to talk about what this experience meant for her.
Growing up, Jordan's family moved around a lot. They never really had a stable home, and it was important to Jordan to break that cycle for her own child: “To have something of mine, finally…it’s a huge accomplishment. But it’s not only that. I’m setting an example for my baby.”
Jordan's goal was to create a home for herself and her child. She utilized the free financial literacy training offered by Green Country Habitat to prepare for success: “Building up credit, building good credit. Getting financially stable, all while working and being a mom and making sure everything is taken care of.”
Now that she's reached this milestone, what is Jordan looking forward to most? “Just being surrounded by people that I love, in a safe place, somewhere I know is stable for my child. That's what matters the most to me. That's home.”

Buena Vida: Unveiling a Stunning 19-Home Development in East Tulsa
We're nearing completion on Buena Vida, a beautiful 19-home development built in partnership with our sister company Boomtown Development.
