Together, We're Building a Brighter 2026

Thanks to your incredible generosity, our end-of-year campaign raised over $70,000—enough to sponsor a Habitat home and support local deserving families on their path to homeownership. With every dollar you gave, we're laying the foundation for stronger neighborhoods and brighter futures.

And now that the new year is here, we're getting started on these big goals for 2026:

    • Build our 700th home, a milestone that represents hundreds of families finding stability and hope
    • Complete the North Tulsa Initiative, a goal of building 250 homes in North Tulsa
    • Launch our biggest Blitz Build ever—10 homes in one neighborhood

These goals are ambitious, but with your help, they’re within reach. Donations for our end-of-year campaign are still being counted, so there's still time to make your year-end gift and see the impact it has in 2026.

Janai's Journey to Homeownership

After years of sharing a home with her brothers, Janai is stepping into a space of her own—a brand-new Habitat home! For her, this isn’t just a house; it’s a dream realized and a future secured.

A lifelong cook, Janai grew up making meals from scratch since she was seven. Now, she can’t wait to fire up her new gas stove—something she’s always wanted.

"I’m a big cook,’ she says. "Having a gas stove is going to be so fun for me. I’ve always wanted one!"

Born in Texas and raised in a military family, Janai moved often before finally settling in Tulsa. Today, she works in life insurance, helping people every day. When her counselor encouraged her to apply for Habitat’s Homebuyer Program, she took a leap of faith.

"The worst they can tell you is no."

That leap led to new skills, new confidence, and now, a new home.

Special thanks to MapleMark Bank for helping make Janai’s dream a reality.
