Celebrating 100 Homes with the Tuesday Morning Miracle Workers
On April 25, Green Country Habitat for Humanity gathered with volunteers, staff, and community members to celebrate a big milestone—the dedication of the 100th home built by the Tuesday Morning Miracle Workers. This faithful volunteer group has met up every week for more than 30 years, lending their time and skills to help build affordable homes for Tulsa families.
The 100th home was dedicated to new homeowner Jasmine, a hardworking parent and CAP Tulsa employee who now has a safe, affordable place for her family. It was a truly special moment, honoring both the volunteers who built the house and the family that now call it home.
Rock the House: Neon Rodeo lit up the Arvest Convention Center on May 3rd with a fun-filled night of western flair and community spirit. Guests enjoyed live music, dancing, and dinner, all in support of Green Country Habitat for Humanity’s mission to build affordable homes in Tulsa.
The evening also honored former Mayor G.T. Bynum with the Jimmie Swindler Spirit Award and Ameristar | ASSA ABLOY with the Heart of Habitat Award.
Proceeds from the gala will help Habitat reach its goal of 90 new homes in 2025 and support the “Education Begins at Home” initiative, which offers up to $50,000 in down payment assistance for Tulsa teachers. Thank you to everyone who made this unforgettable night possible!
Blitz Build 2025 is almost here! This exciting one-day event is a powerful collaboration between Green Country Habitat for Humanity and nationally recognized consumer expert Clark Howard to raise the walls on multiple homes, all in a single day.
