City of Tulsa Employee Achieves Dream of Homeownership

Congratulations to new Habitat homeowner Kennedy!

 

Kennedy is the second City of Tulsa employee to close on a Habitat house in the last month. She was one of the first to visit her coworker's new home and is excited to host a housewarming celebration in her own home very soon.

 

She described the overall homebuying experience as "feeling surreal" and told us that she "can’t stop daydreaming about her Pinterest board coming to life!"

Her advice to others: “Trust the program. Habitat is there to help. Even if they initially tell you no, they’ll give you the tools to get to YES!”

Kennedy's affordable mortgage was provided by MidFirst Bank.

Handcrafted onsite, our all-wood HABCO cabinets are paint/stain ready, and available at all our ReStore locations. 

 

We offer many stock sizes to fit your project, and all proceeds support Green Country Habitat's mission.

NOTE: Our Jenks Restore will permanently close on August 3rd. We are no longer accepting donations at this location, but we appreciate your continued support at our other locations in Tulsa, Broken Arrow, and Claremore.
