22-Year-Old Nursing Student Becomes First-Time Homeowner

Congratulations to Kyla on becoming a first-time homeowner at just 22 years old! 

Kyla is currently studying for her nursing degree while working nights at Saint Francis Hospital. Despite her busy schedule, she completed our homebuyer program in just six months. Even better, she purchased a home next to a family friend who is also a Habitat homeowner!  

While she's excited for a place of her own, Kyla is also planning future family get-togethers as host. She says, "To me, home is my family. That's how I would describe it." 

Women Building Together on Tulsa's 918 Day

This 918 Day, we're thrilled to celebrate Tulsa’s vibrant spirit with Women Build 2024!

This special event, the first of its kind since 2018, brings together female-led sponsor teams on September 18th to raise walls on four new affordable homes in North Tulsa.

While participation is limited to sponsor teams, we invite everyone to come out and cheer them on. Let’s make this year’s build the best one yet and celebrate the return of this inspiring initiative!

Clark Howard's Blitz Build: Dedication Sept 21st

Join us on Saturday, September 21st, as we dedicate six new homes built during this year's Blitz Build with Clark Howard!

Dedication Day is our opportunity to acknowledge the hard work of our construction teams and future homeowners, and to thank the volunteers, sponsors, and partners who made it all possible.

Green Country Habitat Expands to Wagoner with 10 New Homes

Green Country Habitat is coming to Wagoner, OK!

Through a generous grant from the Oklahoma Housing Finance Agency and in partnership with City of Wagoner representatives, we will begin construction on ten new affordable homes in the next few months.

This is a significant step towards providing more housing options in the area, and we hope it's the beginning of many more to come. 

Stay tuned for updates as we work to make a positive impact in Wagoner!
